We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Account Manager (AAM) to join our Commercial Downstream team at Alliance Healthcare, a Cencora company. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maximising sales and profit throughout West London by providing exceptional account management and customer support. Your mission will be to grow existing customer accounts and win new business, all while achieving key commercial objectives through strong customer relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Account Development & Territory Planning: Construct and maintain an effective journey plan for territory management. Analyse existing and prospect customers to report on business development Monitor competitor activity and report findings to the Head of Region
Sales Management: Prepare thoroughly for customer calls to achieve targeted sales and profit levels. Evaluate customer needs and financial data to tailor your approach
Administration: Ensure timely and accurate completion of all administrative tasks. Maintain all company equipment to high standards. Communicate effectively across all company functions to support territory plans
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and share market insights
Requirements:
Structured field sales experience
High standard of communication, both verbal and written
Proven ability to develop customer relationships and win new business
Strong planning and organizational skills
Excellent influencing and negotiation abilities
Numerate and proficient in IT
Results-oriented with a strong commercial focus
Full UK Driving Licence
In-depth experience in negotiations within a complex trading environment
