Job Description:

The Architecture Lead Analyst is a strategic professional responsible for leading architectural visions, developing technology roadmaps, translating complex business problems into technical solutions, and mentoring junior team members. The role requires expertise in Ab Initio ETL, Apache Spark, data modeling, solution architecture, and data engineering best practices. Strong collaboration, leadership, and analytical skills are essential.

Job Responsibility:

Executes the architectural vision for all IT systems through major, complex IT architecture projects
Develops technology road maps while keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies
Recommends business directions based on emerging technologies
Provides technical leadership and is responsible for developing components of, or the overall systems design
Translates complex business problems into sound technical solutions
Applies hardware engineering and software design theories and principles in researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces
Provides integrated systems planning
Recommends innovative technologies to enhance the current system
Advises appropriate desktop, computer platform, and communication links to support IT goals
Acts as an advisor or mentor to junior team members
Requires sophisticated analytical thought to resolve issues
Guides, influences, and persuades others with developed communication and diplomacy skills
Performs other job duties and functions as assigned
Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made
Safeguards Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations

Requirements:

10+ years relevant experience
Strong experience in Ab initio ETL design and development (Graph, Continuous Flows conduct IT)
Understanding of Apache Spark for large scale data processing
Experience in integrating Spark with Hadoop ecosystem would be a plus
Ability to design end-to-end data architecture for high volume transactional and analytical systems
Knowledge in data modeling best practices
Strong solution architecture and design review capabilities
Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, data governance teams and developers
Experience in mentoring teams and driving best practices in data engineering

Nice to have:

Experience in integrating Spark with Hadoop ecosystem
Knowledge in data modeling best practices
