The Architecture Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. Job Responsibility:
Provide data architect activities to support data for Citi’s AI initiatives
Perform data analysis, data quality and data reconciliation checks, understand data requirements
Identify key data elements, discover gaps in data requirements, identify data in different systems and work with other teams to discover opportunities to enrich data quality and performance improvement
Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and improvements of data related projects
Engage with Business, Ops, Finance, and Technology teams to understand business drivers, gaps, and pain points in current state
Develop key design principles and maintain design conformance in the execution of data architecture across legacy and target state applications covering data definitions, sourcing, consumption, transformation, and storage
Define / improve logical data models, identify issues with data in transit, and codify logical, physical models in central data catalogue
Produce high-quality documentation, presentation and design artefacts
Able to produce SQL based reports based on data requirements
Translates business problems into sound data-oriented solutions
Requires sophisticated analytical thought to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations
Guides, influences and persuades others with developed communication and diplomacy skills
Performs other job duties and functions as assigned
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements:
6+ years relevant experience
Experience in supporting data architecture, data lineage, data integration, data governance, data life cycle management, data quality, and data strategy
Demonstrable experience with SQL, Oracle, Postgres DB, Tableau and other data management tools
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Management and prioritization skills
Ability to develop working relationships
Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly
Methodical, attention to detail
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
Banking or financial industry experience a huge plus
Knowledge of current Generative AI based development trends and able to write and review LLM prompts and validate the results
