Job Description

We are looking for a talented Architecture/Interior Designer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves working on innovative café redesign projects in Los Angeles, California, with occasional site visits to café locations and potential travel within the region. You will collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to deliver creative and functional designs that enhance customer experiences.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute design concepts for café remodel projects, ensuring alignment with the company's brand and functional requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers and team members to create detailed architectural and interior design plans
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to produce accurate and high-quality design documentation
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and oversee design implementation
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met
  • Provide creative input and solutions for food and beverage spaces to improve customer experience
  • Prepare presentations and design proposals for internal reviews and client meetings
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into design projects
  • Maintain an organized and meticulous approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in architecture or interior design, with a focus on food and beverage spaces preferred
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software for design and documentation purposes
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles and interior design practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred

Nice to have

  • Experience with application architecture and API development is a plus
  • Familiarity with tools such as Snowflake and Amazon EC2 is advantageous
