Job Description

We are currently recruiting a highly motivated and talented Architectural Visualization Specialist. Professional experience should include 0-3 years of work in the architectural profession or other design field (graphic design, animation, game design, or similar). This position offers the opportunity to work with multiple teams, across numerous building typologies to develop architectural renderings, animations, and graphics under the direct supervision of the department director. We are looking for individuals with strong 3D modeling skills, attention to detail, and a refined sense of visual aesthetic. This is a full-time, salaried position, with a minimum of four days per week in-person office attendance; flexible work arrangements will be considered on an individual basis.

Job Responsibility

  • Produce 3D models for interviews, client presentations, and in-house design development
  • Support the creation of presentation-level renderings and animations for client review
  • Create custom materials and model unique assets as required per project
  • Communicate proactively with multiple project teams in a timely and effective manner
  • Actively participate in rendering reviews and respond well to feedback
  • Effectively manage time between multiple projects
  • Help organize and maintain the firm’s 3D and 2D asset libraries

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Architecture or Design
  • 0-3 years of experience in the field of Architecture or Design
  • Strong design and technical skills
  • Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills
  • Competence in working within a collaborative design environment
  • Ability to work independently to carry out instructions with intermittent input and supervision
  • Strong working knowledge of SketchUp and Photoshop
  • Comprehensive understanding of effective image composition and lighting
  • Strong knowledge of post-production techniques in Adobe Photoshop
  • Creative, organized, communicative, responsible, and team-oriented
  • Possess an ongoing commitment to improving one’s craft of a wide range of tasks
  • Interest in participating in forums outside one’s assigned work that will enhance your knowledge of architectural visualization and keep you informed of the latest developments in relevant technologies
  • Enthusiasm for continued growth and learning

Nice to have

  • Experience with Revit, Enscape, and Lumion strongly encouraged
  • Experience with additional 3D modeling applications (Rhino, Blender, 3ds Max, etc.), as well as Adobe After Effects and/or Premiere a plus
