Job Description

Anderselite are seeking a talented and motivated architectural technician to join a team and contribute to the design and development of a wide range of housing projects at all stages of design from masterplanning through to detailed design, combining architecture and urban design. As an architectural technician, you will work closely with architects and the design team to create innovative and sustainable housing developments that meet the needs of our clients and the community.

Job Responsibility

  • Contribute to the design and development of a wide range of housing projects at all stages of design from masterplanning through to detailed design
  • Work closely with architects and the design team to create innovative and sustainable housing developments
  • Input at various stages of the design process from feasibility layouts through to planning applications
  • Work alongside project leaders to prepare full, outline and reserved matters planning application packs, including drawings, 3D visualisations and graphic outputs

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience
  • Keen interest in residential design and placemaking
  • Architectural design-based degree
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/REVIT
  • Previous experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch-Up etc.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Desire to progress and attend CPD

Nice to have

Previous experience of working on residential or mixed-use projects is desirable

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related discipline (architectural qualification not mandatory)
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a BIM Technician or BIM Specialist, with strong exposure to large-scale projects in the Middle East (Qatar, KSA, UAE preferred)
  • Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit for architectural BIM (a practical BIM/Revit test will be conducted after the interview)

  • Develop, manage, and coordinate architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit across all project stages, from concept to IFC and construction
  • Act as the Revit and BIM technical authority within the project team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project BIM standards
  • Coordinate BIM models with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, structural, landscape, interiors, sustainability) to resolve clashes and ensure fully integrated designs
  • Prepare and maintain high-quality construction documentation, drawings, schedules, and families in line with project requirements
