Architectural Designer

• Research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, building codes, and building materials and systems
• Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and design documents in Revit
• Plan and program layout of projects
• coordinates and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval
• Work with the Project Manager, may direct, supervise, and check activities of in-house engineers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project
• Work in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline design teams within M3
• Assist in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications

• Candidate must have analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a team environment and able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner
• Is a self-starter, detailed oriented and has exceptional organization skills
• Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative management style to include teamwork and team building ability, including excellent communication abilities
• 2+ years of architectural design experience
• Understanding and knowledge of building codes, building construction, building systems and site requirements
• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office suite is required
• AutoCAD a plus
• Candidate must be able to occasionally travel domestically to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects as needed
• Pass a background check
