SCB is an award winning multi-disciplinary design firm with a national presence. We are looking for creative, passionate, and driven junior designers and technical staff to work on mixed-use multi-family, adaptive reuse, aviation, and higher education projects in our Chicago office. Job Responsibility

  • Work on mixed-use multi-family, adaptive reuse, aviation, and higher education projects
  • Work with a team of talented and collaborative professionals on all aspects of project design and development under the direct supervision of a Senior Architect and/or Principal
  • Collaborate with the project team, including consultants, to prepare design studies, graphic representations, technical drawings, studies, and other materials related to architectural design

Requirements

  • Accredited professional degree in architecture
  • 0 – 5 years post-graduate, full-time working experience in an architectural firm
  • A strong design sensibility
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Proficiency with Revit preferred
  • Familiarity with software programs such as Enscape, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, 3D Studio Max, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
