Architect

• Take a brief from a client and develop an efficient and effective design using robust and sustainable design solutions, which is compliant with UK Buildings Regulations and Construction Law, British Standards and relevant CoPs
• Choose or advise on material selection and assist in writing NBS specifications
• Assist in preparing statutory submissions, such as Planning, Building Regulations and Building Safety Gateways
• Negotiate with statutory bodies, write reports and complete statutory submissions (Planning Applications / Gateway submissions / Building Regulations etc)
• Attend meetings and workshops with Clients, Designers, Contractors, and other Specialists
• Support the Project Lead with the maintenance of the Design Risk Registers

• ARB registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualification UK experience
• Experience designing and delivering office & workplace projects
• All-round experience from concept to delivery
• A collaborative approach, and experience working with large multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent communication skills – including drawing and presentation skills and the ability to explain a design idea and evolution of a concept
• Two years’ experience using Revit as prime software
• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign

Experience in 3D visualisation (Lumion or Enscape)
