The role involves overseeing and delivering a wide range of tree maintenance operations, ensuring Arboricultural standards are consistently upheld across all sites, regardless of weather conditions. The postholder will manage daily operations and team performance, supporting charge hands and demonstrating strong leadership aligned with company values to foster a positive team culture. Responsibilities include compliance with statutory Health and Safety regulations, company policies, and safe working procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment. The role also requires adherence to Joint Venture contract specifications, commitment to environmental and quality initiatives, effective resource planning, and task prioritisation. Monitoring performance quality, driving service innovation, and supporting team development through appraisals and job chats are key aspects of this position.
Job Responsibility:
Overseeing and delivering a wide range of tree maintenance operations
Ensuring Arboricultural standards are consistently upheld across all sites

Requirements:
Full Driving Licence Category B+E
Arboriculture qualifications and knowledge
Knowledge of Arboricultural industry Health and Safety legislation
Level 4 qualification in Arboriculture
Expertise in tree works aligned with BS3998 standards and current industry guidelines
Solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation
IOSH Managing Safely training
Familiar with the Wildlife and Countryside Act
Specific knowledge of bats in Arboriculture
Tree and fungi identification
Knowledge of common pests and diseases affecting trees
Experience in the Arboricultural field
Proficiency in operating commercial equipment, vehicles, and mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs)
Supervisory experience leading Arboricultural teams
Experience liaising with management and clients
Experience working in compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
Nice to have:
LGV C1+E and Driver CPC qualifications
