Job Description

This is a hands-on role involving taking the lead on delivery of our arboriculture services in the North East area, monitoring the progress of teams on-site and taking quick and effective action to maintain both high productivity and client satisfaction.

  • Responsibility for the Contract accounts and production of weekly and monthly reports
  • Organise staff and teams to deliver the service
  • Recruitment of both seasonal and permanent staff
  • Liaison with Client Officers
  • Overseeing system compliance and quality checks
  • Organising teams and rotas
  • Taking a leading role in health and safety

Requirements

  • A self motivated Contract Manager with perseverance and entrepreneurial appetite
  • Demonstrable track record of managing arboricultural teams, being able to drive productivity and ensuring that the workforce provides a quality service
  • A strategic outlook driving continuous improvement and efficiencies
  • Experience working with commercial and non-commercial clients
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office / Google systems would be preferred
