Job Description

Arbitration Assistant role supporting the smooth running of arbitration cases for an international trade association. Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in dispute resolution within a supportive and highly regarded organisation.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing and maintaining arbitration case files
  • Handling incoming correspondence and ensuring timely distribution to tribunals and boards
  • Setting up new cases and appeals, issuing procedural orders and letters
  • Formatting arbitration awards (ad hoc basis)
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and records of case activity
  • Responding to arbitration-related queries and directing parties to the correct rules
  • Answering telephone enquiries from arbitrators and parties regarding the progress of cases
  • Assisting the Arbitration Manager and General Counsel with general administrative duties

Requirements

  • Good academic background
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
