Job Description

Our client is looking for an AR Supervisor. The position is hybrid in Margate, FL. Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  • Supervise and support a small accounting/AP-AR team, providing training, guidance, and performance oversight
  • Monitor high-volume transaction workflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Manage customer billing, collections, and account reconciliation processes
  • Review aging reports and proactively resolve outstanding balances
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Assist in month-end close activities related to AR and AP functions
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the department

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Prior experience in accounts receivable and/or accounts payable required
  • Industry experience in Infrastructure & Equipment preferred
  • Experience supervising or leading an AP/AR or accounting team strongly preferred
  • High-volume transactional environment experience is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
