Requirements

Proven experience as in accounting, preferably within the construction/contractor industry
Proficiency in using SAP software for accounting purposes
Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations on a regular basis
Solid understanding of the General Ledger and ability to manage it effectively
Ability to prepare accurate Journal Entries as per business requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in conducting Month End Close activities
Ability to manage Weekly Account Payable tasks efficiently
Experience in Receivables processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Job Responsibility

Oversee the entry, coding, editing, and verification of accounting functions in compliance with company policy and procedures
Maintain the integrity of internal control procedures and ensure they are followed
Manage and process accounts payable and receivable accurately and efficiently
Conduct bank reconciliations, journal entries and month-end close
Serve as a backup to the supervisor when required and lead special projects as assigned by management
Generate standard reports, create and maintain spreadsheets, and complete subsidiary ledger reconciliation
Review and provide training to others on the team as needed
Respond to internal and external audit requests and inquiries and compile necessary information
Utilize SAP for various accounting processes
Handle any unusual problems by obtaining necessary information to resolve them
