Job Description:

The role involves a combination of accounting duties, primarily focused on the efficient management of customer transactions and account receivables. The successful candidate will be integral to the smooth running of the accounts department in our organization.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accurate processing and posting of customer payments into QuickBooks
  • Facilitating the timely issuance of sales invoices and ensuring they are error-free and include the correct sales tax
  • Assisting in the transition from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online
  • Managing accounts receivable collections and ensuring prompt payment
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely filing and payment of sales tax
  • Undertaking project billing tasks
  • Preparing project P&Ls in Excel and uploading invoices to the customer portal
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients to resolve any issues or inquiries
  • Using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to maintain and organize data efficiently
  • Proactively monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions when required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an AR Clerk/Specialist role or a similar position
  • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
  • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Knowledge and experience in Billing procedures
  • Capable of performing Cash Applications effectively
  • Experience in Cash Collections
  • Familiarity with Commercial Collections
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in using Oracle for financial management
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Quickbooks Online, and QuickBooks Pro
  • Knowledge of SAP systems
  • Proven ability in Invoice Processing

Familiarity with AIA billing
