Job Description:

Join a Federal Government agency that supports meaningful, participant-focused outcomes. As part of the Risk and Audit team, you’ll play a critical role in managing operational and strategic risks, supporting the agency’s mission to deliver impactful results for Australians. This is a 6-month temporary assignment with the potential for extension, offering full-time hours based in Robina. The role offers a casual rate of $60.26 per hour plus superannuation, starting ASAP.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate risk discussions and reviews, applying the Risk Management Framework to identify and address risks
  • Analyse trends to mitigate risks, minimise exposure, and harness opportunities, including risk treatment plans and processes
  • Deliver risk management training to build knowledge and tools across the organisation
  • Collaborate with assurance teams to manage shared risks effectively
  • Support the Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS) and contribute to stakeholder reporting

Requirements:

  • Prior experience within risk management
  • Strong experience in facilitating risk workshops and applying Risk Management Frameworks
  • Previous experience in risk reporting
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience working within the public sector or disability sector would be highly regarded
  • Must be an Australian citizen

  • A qualification in risk is highly desirable
