Job Description

Randstad is currently seeking several experienced Policy Officer APS6 to join a high-performing federal government team. Labour Hire | Canberra, ACT | 5 months

Job Responsibility

  • Perform research and analysis from a broad range of sources to support the design, development, and implementation of effective regulatory policy and reform
  • Interpret, draft, and review policy for publication
  • Prepare and progress a high standard of documentation, including reports, work plans, and Budget documents
  • Assist with briefings, manage and respond to coordination requests, and handle ministerial correspondence
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of team objectives, work plans, and strategic planning
  • Keep accurate and comprehensive records
  • Work with a level of independence while maintaining an appropriate level of supervision
  • Manage time-sensitive work, navigate competing priorities, and deliver quality outcomes
