DFAT is seeking responses from service providers to fill a vacancy for an APS Level 5-6 Education for Development (EDF) Program Management Officer. Supporting the planning, delivery and monitoring of education and development programs, including budgets, risk management and performance reporting. Managing contracts and service agreements, ensuring compliance, value for money and timely delivery of outputs. Coordinating research, learning and analytical activities, including governance, quality assurance and dissemination of findings. Preparing clear, timely briefs, correspondence and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Supporting stakeholder engagement across government, research organisations, multilateral and implementing partners. Contributing to knowledge management and capability‑building activities, including maintaining online resources and producing communication products. Assisting with procurement and grant processes, including tender documentation and contract variations.
Job Responsibility

Requirements
Experience in program or project management within a development, policy or government environment
An understanding of international development and aid programming
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a service‑oriented team
Experience managing contracts, procurement processes and supplier deliverables
Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing briefs and reports for diverse audiences
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to translate evidence into practical advice
