Job Description:

The Customer Service Officer role requires candidates that can work as part of a team contributing to a whole of government service. In this role candidates need a strong background in customer service/service delivery with the ability to problem solve and adapt to changes in work priorities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responding to phone and email security clearance related enquiries
  • Processing and transacting security clearance related products
  • Working collaboratively within a diverse team and work environment
  • Ongoing engagement with on-the-job training and participation in activities to build and maintain customer service skills, systems and product knowledge

Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline Clearance or willing to obtain one
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and produce high quality customer service outcomes in a fast paced environment with competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills to support a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Developed interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and adhoc tasks
  • High level computer literacy, with demonstrated ability to learn new systems
  • Valid driving licence with access to a vehicle (essential)
