The Apres Ski Pub Front of House Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Avalanche Bay Food and Beverage Manager in all aspects of the restaurant, primarily floor management. The Supervisor will effectively lead 10-15 staff members in a dining room setting and snack shack outlet, train and motivate team members, be highly organized, and be able to establish and maintain department goals.
Job Responsibility
Assisting with scheduling, daily staffing levels, payroll, inventory, etc.
Ensuring cleanliness of restaurant, including service stations and banquet areas along with maintaining clean, neat, and well-organized work areas
Taking appropriate action on any complaint or problem to ensure guest satisfaction
Working closely with Avalanche Bay staff and other departments to properly plan and coordinate events in waterpark and restaurant needing food and beverage service
Maintaining awareness in relation to accident prevention and safety
Looking for new methods, techniques, equipment, and material that will improve the overall efficiency and/or quality of the restaurant
Requirements
You are at least 18 years old and available to work nights, weekends and holidays
You possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
and six months to one year related experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience
You have previous supervisory experience preferred
You have experience with point of sale software and Microsoft products such as Word and Excel preferred
You possess strong leadership, organizational and guest relation skills
