Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Apptio FinOps Consultant to join our team on a long-term rolling contract. This role is focused on helping organizations optimize their cloud financial operations and implement best practices using Apptio’s suite of tools. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, improve cost transparency, and drive efficiency across cloud and IT spend.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Apptio solutions for FinOps practices
  • Partner with finance, IT, and cloud teams to establish cost allocation models and reporting frameworks
  • Analyze cloud usage and spending patterns to identify optimization opportunities
  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide visibility into cloud costs and business unit allocations
  • Provide guidance on FinOps best practices, governance, and operational processes
  • Support ongoing enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Apptio platform and modules (Cost Transparency, Cloudability, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of FinOps principles and cloud financial management
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cost optimization strategies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Nice to have:

  • Apptio certifications or FinOps Foundation certification
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
