Job Description

The Apps Support Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role that involves providing technical and business support, maintaining application systems, ensuring functionality, and problem-solving within Citi applications. The role requires analytical skills, technical expertise, and strong communication abilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide technical and business support for users of Citi applications
  • maintain application systems running in daily operations
  • manage, maintain, and support applications and their environments
  • perform start of day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handover
  • perform same day risk reconciliations
  • develop and maintain technical support documentation
  • identify ways to maximize application potential
  • assess risk and escalate production issues
  • ensure storage and archiving procedures are in place
  • formulate scope and objectives for complex enhancements
  • review and develop contingency planning for applications
  • partner with development and support areas for bug fixes and support tooling
  • participate in application releases
  • engage in post-implementation analysis
  • identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues
  • act as liaison between users and technology teams
  • adhere to service level agreements
  • take ownership of support projects
  • operate with limited supervision and exercise independence of judgment
  • act as subject matter expert to senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5-8 years experience in an Application Support role
  • experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications
  • advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
  • effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand
