Job Description:

The Apps Sup Tech Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. This role combines responsibilities in Regulatory Compliance and Data Support, providing an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to develop skills in data management and regulatory practices.

Job Responsibility:

partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals
identify and define necessary system enhancements
analyze existing system logic, identify problems
and recommend and implement solutions
assist in auditing, maintaining, and improving data quality, developing scalable data processes, supporting compliance with PDPA regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide accurate insights and effective data solutions
assist in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance through documentation, regulatory applicability reviews and management of compliance to them, process and policy maintenance, and support to remain compliant
track production services, measure and monitor service levels, analyze and report deviations, service run books for production support and maintenance
work with team members to resolve data challenges and improve processes
infrastructure run management including service risk assessments, risk remediation, and active management of service improvements
work with data management and reporting processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
collaborate with data owners to identify, monitor, and address data quality issues, assisting with corrective actions
develop and implement data governance and quality assurance processes as required by client-countries to ensure data integrity and accuracy
identify and implement process improvements to enhance data management and reporting efficiency
assist in maintaining documentation, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
ensure all compliance-related policies and procedures are appropriately approved, documented, and communicated within the Production Management Organization
formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards
document requirements
partner with multiple technology areas and management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals
work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document Systems impacts and support requirements
consider the implications of the application of technology to the current environment
identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues
communicate impact
propose risk mitigation options
act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
allocate work
provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel, or provided services
persuade and influence others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills
perform other duties and functions as assigned
appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets

Requirements:

6-10 years experience
5 years of experience in data management, regulatory reporting, or a related field
strong understanding of regulatory requirements and standards in the financial industry
experience with data governance and quality assurance processes
excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
knowledge of financial regulations such as Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and IFRS
familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
practical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills and relationship building skills
service-oriented attitude
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
experience working or leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one-time
proficient using basic technical tools and systems
good interpersonal and communication skills
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
Bachelor’s degree in data science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Master’s degree preferred
