Job Description:

The Credit Risk Technology Team is responsible for delivering Counterparty Credit Risk Management software solutions. These tools allow salespeople, traders, operations staff, and risk officers to manage Citi’s exposure to financial institutions, governments, and corporates that trade with Citi. The team builds and maintains software that provides a complete platform for our users: limit monitoring, exception management, stress-testing analysis, and escalation workflow capabilities are some key areas of focus. Our users rely on the system for an integrated view of trades, collateral, market data, across many dozens of sources. The role seeks a Senior Business Analyst & Subject Matter Expert (SME) to combine traditional business analysis skills with deep expertise in areas such as Credit Risk, Finance, or Regulatory Reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements using various techniques, including interviews, workshops, and document analysis
create detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams
translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team
conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business requirements
facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and the development team
manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results
utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues
ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals
provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sources
influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary
appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Requirements:

15+ years of relevant experience
extensive experience in business analysis
strong understanding of business analysis principles and techniques
deep subject matter expertise in Finance and Credit Risk Monitoring
excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
experience with Agile development methodologies
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
