Apps Development Group Manager

• Define and execute the engineering strategy for data platforms, advanced analytics, and AI adoption
• Partner with business leaders, product owners, and data scientists to align engineering priorities with organizational goals
• Drive innovation in data engineering, AI, and cloud-native development
• Lead the design and development of large-scale distributed data systems
• Oversee development of ETL pipelines, real-time data processing, and advanced data models
• Guide teams in applying AI/ML solutions for business problems
• Ensure best practices in software engineering, architecture, DevOps, and MLOps
• Build, mentor, and retain a world-class engineering team
• Deliver enterprise-grade solutions with focus on security, compliance, and performance
• Establish governance for data quality, data lineage, and model transparency
• Manage vendor partnerships and optimize technology investments

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (PhD is a plus)
• 15+ years of engineering experience
• At least 5 years in senior leadership
• Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale data engineering and AI initiatives
• Strong hands-on and architectural knowledge of Java, Python, and PySpark
• Experience in distributed systems, big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, cloud platforms)
• Exposure to AI/ML lifecycle management, MLOps, and GenAI solutions
• Strong understanding of financial services/banking domain (preferred)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence
