Job Description:

The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The role focuses on applications systems analysis and programming activities to contribute to broader team goals.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify necessary system enhancements
collaborate with Infrastructure and middleware teams
analyze and understand applications onboarding requests
engage in tracking statuses using Jira, PowerPoint, Excel
support internal and external system upgrades
conduct testing during UAT phase
utilize knowledge of business processes and industry standards
analyze information for recommending solutions
conduct testing and debugging
write basic code for design specifications
develop knowledge of Citi’s information systems and client-server applications

Requirements:

2-4 years of relevant experience
proven troubleshooting and analytical skills
knowledge in Unix/Linux OS, Shell scripting (ksh/sh), SQL, Web server (Nginx or Apache), HTML, Javascript
ability to work independently and self-motivated
ability to work with vendors and third parties
experience in analyzing and understanding application onboarding requests
ability to collaborate with Infrastructure and middleware teams
knowledge in tracking statuses using Jira, PowerPoint, Excel
familiarity with business processes, system processes, and industry standards
ability to conduct testing and debugging
evaluative judgment skills for recommending solutions
clear and concise written and verbal communication
