We have an exciting opportunity for an out of hours Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join our dedicated 24/7 AMHP service. The Buckinghamshire AMHP service has an effective and highly supportive service structure, resulting in improved response times for service users and their families. We are a small, friendly, supportive team and strive to consistently deliver the highest standards of practice.

Job Responsibility:

  • Undertaking Mental Health Act Assessments across Buckinghamshire
  • Working from an office base in Aylesbury and from home

Requirements:

  • AMHP qualification
  • Recognised Community Psychiatric Nurse, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology qualification
  • Valid warrant to practice as an AMHP
