Job Description:

ClwydAlyn Property Maintenance is looking for a Approved Electrician to join our Electrical Team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality electrical installations, testing, and repairs across domestic and commercial properties, ensuring our homes and workplaces remain safe, compliant, and fit for the future.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out electrical installations, upgrades, testing, and repairs, including responsive and emergency works
  • Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and all relevant certification to a high standard
  • Work independently to diagnose and resolve faults safely and efficiently
  • Participate in a planned upgrade programme, including kitchens, bathrooms, heating, and void properties
  • Contribute to a resident-focused service, reflecting ClwydAlyn’s values of Trust, Hope, and Kindness
  • Support and mentor colleagues or apprentices when required
  • Accurately maintain electronic certification and job records
  • Take part in a rotating on-call schedule (currently 1 week in 7) with additional remuneration

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and AM2
  • City & Guilds 2382 (BS7671:2018)
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing)
  • at least two years’ post-qualification experience
  • confident working independently and supervising others when needed
  • understands and applies Health & Safety standards consistently
  • shares our values of Trust, Hope and Kindness in daily work

Nice to have:

qualifications in Solar PV, EV Charging, Energy Storage, or in-date PASMA/IPAF training
