Job Description:

As a Leadership & Management Skills Coach, you’ll inspire and develop apprentices from Level 3 to Level 7, supporting them to become confident, effective leaders within their organisations. You’ll deliver a sequenced, coherent, and individualised programme of learning, aligned to apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework. Using a blended approach, you’ll combine coaching, digital delivery, and workplace application to ensure every learner makes measurable progress every month and achieves within agreed timescales. This role requires current occupational competence as a senior manager, enabling you to deliver leadership and management qualifications with credibility, depth, and real-world relevance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, coaching, and assessment aligned to Leadership & Management standards and EPA requirements
  • Design learning programmes informed by robust initial assessment and learner starting points
  • Use your senior management experience to contextualise learning and support meaningful workplace application
  • Individualise delivery to meet employer needs, learner goals, and changing business demands
  • Provide stretch, challenge, and developmental feedback that drives progress
  • Support English, Maths, and ICT (up to Level 2) where required
  • Engage employers and line managers to support learner development
  • Complete progress reviews every 8–12 weeks, with employer involvement
  • Maintain responsibility for safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, and learner wellbeing
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet SEND and additional learning needs
  • Analyse learner and caseload data to manage progress, risk, and priorities
  • Use OneFile ePortfolio and Microsoft 365 to evidence learning and progress
  • Maintain up-to-date CPD and occupational competence
  • Act as a positive ambassador for Total Training Provision

Requirements:

  • Leadership & Management qualification (minimum Level 3)
  • Occupational competence as a senior manager, with current or recent industry experience
  • TAQA / D32/33 Assessor Award (or equivalent)
  • Functional Skills English & Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • Experience delivering apprenticeship training in a work-based environment
  • Strong understanding of government-funded training
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills
  • Confident using ePortfolio systems and Microsoft 365
  • Ability to work independently as part of a remote team

Nice to have:

  • Teaching qualification (PTLLS/CTLLS/DTLLS or equivalent)
  • Internal Quality Assurer qualification (V1/D34)
