Apprenticeship Recruitment Officer Competitive salary, £29,950 pro rata (full-time), Remote, Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00 Are you an organised and driven professional with a passion for people, quality and compliance? Do you have experience (or interest) in recruitment, apprenticeships and apprenticeship funding? We're looking for an Apprenticeship Recruitment Officer to join our busy team at Smart Dental Academy Limited. About Us Smart Dental Academy delivers high-quality dental education and apprenticeships, helping learners gain nationally recognised qualifications and build careers in dentistry. We support practices, apprentices and employers throughout the recruitment and training journey. We pride ourselves on excellent learner support, strong working relationships with employers, and a commitment to developing the next generation of dental professionals. Your Role This is a varied role combining recruitment, administration and compliance responsibilities. You will support learners and employers throughout the onboarding process while ensuring records and processes remain compliant with apprenticeship funding and awarding organisation requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for apprenticeships and funded training programmes
  • Source, screen and onboard candidates effectively
  • Build and maintain recruitment pipelines with dental practices and learners
  • Maintain compliance with apprenticeship funding rules, DfE requirements and organisational standards
  • Maintain accurate learner and employer records
  • Liaise with internal teams, employers and training partners to ensure smooth delivery and reporting
  • Support MIS enrolments and apprenticeship agreements
  • Complete awarding body registrations
  • Monitor employer compliance
  • Support audit preparation
  • Manage learner absence reporting
  • Signpost SEN applicants to SENCO
  • Marketing and social media activity

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with employers, candidates and internal teams
  • Strong recruitment experience (agency, internal HR, or apprenticeship recruitment)
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • A good understanding of compliance processes and data-driven administration
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship funding (or willingness to learn), particularly around funding rules and provider obligations
  • Experience in apprenticeships/education desirable but not essential
