The Apprenticeship Product Manager plays a pivotal role in designing, enhancing and championing high-quality apprenticeship programmes that develop the full breadth of knowledge, skills and behaviours required for occupational competence. This role blends curriculum innovation, employer insight and educational rigour to create learning experiences that are engaging, industry-aligned and Ofsted-ready.
Job Responsibility:
Develop a market-leading digital skills curriculum that competes with established providers
Create innovative, engaging and exigent learning experiences
Integrate ed-tech solutions into new and existing programmes
Align and enhance existing curriculum content to ensure full coverage of apprenticeship knowledge, skills and behaviours
Work collaboratively with Quality teams, subject matter experts and delivery colleagues
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes, industry trends and employer needs
Map apprenticeship content against relevant vendor certifications
Identify new certification opportunities
Ensure certification pathways are embedded seamlessly into the learner journey
Engage with certification providers on horizon scanning
Deliver product training to internal teams routinely
Act as the gatekeeper for apprenticeship products
Devise and lead an employer engagement strategy
Support the ‘point of sale’ function and engage with sales
Represent the organisation at events, webinars and employer forums
Requirements:
Proven experience in curriculum design, apprenticeship development or product management within education or training
Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, Ofsted requirements and EPA expectations
Knowledge of digital skills, data analysis, business analysis or related professional services disciplines
Ability to translate complex occupational requirements into engaging learning experiences
Confident communicator with experience delivering training or presentations to varied audiences
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with SMEs, quality teams and commercial stakeholders
Innovative thinker with a passion for ed-tech and modern learning design
Be able to work flexible hours and locations (within reason), if required
Full driving licence and car
