We are seeking an Apprenticeship Development Coach to join our team. In this role you will, provide tailored coaching and works closely with employers to ensure apprentices are fully supported to reach their full potential, in the Areas of IT, AI, management and procurement. This includes completing apprenticeship sign-ups promptly to ensure learners are enrolled before the start of learning, identifying, and communicating barriers to the delivery team where applicable, and conducting 12-weekly progress reviews, at apprentice's places of work, with accurate recording of monthly learning evidence. The Development Coach also identifies risks to achievement and implements proactive action plans, working collaboratively with employers and curriculum teams to remove barriers to learning and ensure all apprentices complete their programmes on time
Job Responsibility

Liaise with the employer, apprentice, and college staff to ensure apprentices fully understand the learning requirements of their apprenticeship regarding knowledge, skills and behaviours, functional skills and end point assessment
Carry out apprenticeship sign-ups, completing administration tasks and providing IAG to employers and new apprentices
Liaise with Colchester Institute delivery teams to ensure high levels of professionalism and quality assurance are developed and maintained throughout the whole apprenticeship journey
Carry out regular reviews (8-12 weeks) with apprentices and employers, in the workplace, to monitor progress against key milestones and the planned learning as outlined in the apprenticeship training plan
Provide timely and developmental feedback to apprentices and learners to aid progress and achievement
During all aspects of apprenticeship meetings with both the apprentice and the employer, seek opportunities to raise awareness of personal development including Safeguarding, Prevent Agenda, Inclusion, Health & Safety, British Values, Maths & English, Careers Guidance (IAG), Wellbeing and Sustainability
Support the apprentices as they prepare for gateway and end point assessment ensuring clear lines of communication between all key delivery staff involved in the apprenticeship both with the employer and training provider
Requirements
Education to level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent
Experience of training, mentoring, or supporting team members or apprentices
Demonstrate evidence of effectively liaising with key stakeholders internal and external to the organisation
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent
