Avant’s Apprentice Program is a 9–12-month, cohort-based initiative designed to bring college students and early-career professionals into structured, project-based roles. Unlike traditional internships, our apprentices take end-to-end ownership of high-impact projects that directly support Avant’s growth and innovation. The 2026-2027 cohort will be selected in July and start in August-September. Program Structure & Expectations: Duration: A consistent 9-to-12-month paid commitment to allow for deeper learning and meaningful contributions. Project Ownership: Apprentices are responsible for specific, well-scoped deliverables with clear start and end points. Documentation & Handoff: A core requirement of every project is the creation of clean, handoff-ready documentation—such as playbooks, code, or dashboards—that serves as a lasting asset for the company. Cohort Learning: Apprentices join as a cohort, participating in shared onboarding and a professional development curriculum. Potential Application Areas: Accounting & Business: Supporting rater operations or financial workflows. Engineering: Full-stack development, addressing technical debt using Kotlin, React, and PostgreSQL. Legal & Compliance: Focused on privacy policy (FERPA/COPPA) and regulatory reviews. Marketing: Tracks in Product Marketing, PR/Communications, Advertising/Growth, and Social Media. Research & AI: Contributing to data analysis, research standards, or AI literacy initiatives. Systems, Processes & Security: Improving CRM data quality, documenting SOPs, or supporting IT security compliance
