Your journey will start as an Auxiliary Nurse working 35hrs a week, here you will learn the important key skills required to be a Veterinary Nurse. Upon successfully passing probationary you will then be recruited into our Apprenticeship Veterinary Nurse role. As an apprentice, you will be paid to work 37.5hour week 3 days a week in clinic and 1 day per week at college, during college holidays you will work your full week clinically. Our apprentices will be supported by a clinical coach. As part of this apprenticeship you will receive a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing and be eligible to apply for professional registration with the RCVS as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Work through a rotational rota pattern ensuring exposure to all aspects of the role
Requirements:
Applicants must have achieved at least 5 level 2 qualifications (equivalent to GCSE grades 9 to 4 or A* to C), including English, maths and a science subject
Must have either completed the L2 diploma in Veterinary Care Support or have at least one year of hands-on experience working in a Veterinary practice
Passionate about animals - previous experience working with animals is essential
