As an Apprentice Transport Administrator at FCC Environment, you will provide administrative support to the transport team, ensuring fleet compliance and accurate record-keeping. You will be expected to complete administrative tasks, maintain fleet records, support customer communications and assist in the smooth day-to-day running of transport operations in line with company procedures. This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.
Job Responsibility
Maintaining accurate fleet records and ensuring compliance with fleet requirements
Uploading vehicle inspections to internal systems (e.g. Asset Go)
Responding to customer emails and processing information for planning and transport teams
Managing driver and transport training records via internal systems (IMS)
Answering phone calls, taking accurate messages and processing information efficiently
Supporting the coordination and smooth running of transport operations
Assisting with planning routes and gaining an understanding of operational requirements
Maintaining compliance calendars for vehicles and fleet activities
Raising and receipting purchase orders
Requirements
Good organisational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidence in using Microsoft Office and the willingness to learn new systems
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Good customer service approach
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
