Requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSE grades 5-9
A levels or a BTEC in related topics (e.g., Engineering, Construction, Maths, Physics or Business)
Basic IT skills to use work systems (e.g. excel, work, etc.)
A full UK Driving Licence
Enthusiasm and interest in working in the construction materials industry
Flexibility with your working hours and be able to work nights and weekends
Ability to work away from home with possible overnight stays
Minimum age of 18 (by July 2025)

Job Responsibility

Assisting our Contracts Manager with the safe and efficient delivery of surfacing projects
Overseeing site operations and coordinating resources
Working with clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
Involved in all aspects from operational, commercial and administration

Previous experience of supervising / managing manpower essential
Ability and willingness to train non-skilled personnel
MRO composite repair workshop/hangar environment preferred
Fully conversant with use of hot bond equipment (Heatcon)
Conversant with handling and storage of all composite materials
Metal bond experience essential, flight control surface and nacelle experience desirable
Fibreglass & Carbon wet layup repair experience essential
Fibreglass & Carbon pre-impregnated repair experience essential
Experienced in Inspection and creation of work cards /work packs essential
Excellent spoken and written English is essential

Job Responsibility

Supervise & organise manpower and planning
Organise and evaluate repairs
Allocation and prioritisation of tasks and management of technical jobs
Ordering & progressing spares
Ensuring documentation is completed correctly in accordance with maintenance and company procedures
Ensuring that company regulations and policies are enforced
Ensuring the work area and environment are kept clean and tidy at all times
Developing skills of all staff, including apprentices and trainee mechanics
Assist with & carry out composite repairs

Use a range of tools and equipment, including power tools and light plant
