We are currently looking for a Multi Trade Apprentice to join our award-winning apprenticeship scheme that could help you achieve your goals whilst also making a positive impact on other people's lives.
Job Responsibility:
Working on projects predominantly in the social housing sector
Covering areas including (but not limited to): Bristol and Swindon
Being an apprentice Multi Trade Operative means that you won't specialise in one trade, rather you will work on jobs that come under a range of different trades to repair and maintain properties
Ripping out and preparing empty properties for new tenants
Planned and responsive repair work
You will gain an overview and basic understanding of multiple trades including carpentry, electrical, plastering and plumbing
Work both inside and outside in all weather
Attend college to understand the how and why of your trade (usually 1 day a week)
Build an awesome portfolio of evidence for your End Point Assessment
Be a valued team member and contribute to our overall success
Requirements:
A genuine passion for multiple trades and practical, hands-on work
A positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
Commitment to building your career at Ian Williams
Strong organisational skills
GCSE (or equivalent) grade 3(E) or above in Maths and English
Eligibility to work in the UK on a permanent basis
A driving licence isn't needed straight away, but you'll be expected to work towards obtaining one
