Job Responsibility

Management and delivery of samples from production to QC
Carrying out environmental monitoring and water sampling activities
Assisting laboratory analytical personnel, supporting housekeeping activities and consumable stock management
Participating in all training and completion of training records
Ensuring QC documentation and laboratory records are up to date and of an appropriate standard
Assisting in laboratory investigations
Identifying opportunities for improvement within the QC and associated environments
Evaluate results against defined acceptance criteria
Maintain the laboratory in an inspection-ready state

Equipment calibration and maintenance
Preparing media and buffers for lab projects
Managing lab logbooks through their lifecycle
Conducting freezer defrosts
Tracking and ordering lab consumables
Drafting Best Practice Documents and risk assessments
Handing GMM waste management
Participating in all training and completion of training records required by the supervisor/management
Identifying any opportunities for improvement within the BCoE laboratory and associated environments
Other duties as assigned
