Job Description

We’re on the lookout for an Apprentice Joiner to join our team in September 2026 for 24 months. This is a great opportunity to start your career, gaining hands-on experience while working towards a recognised Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship standard.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the delivery of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and void property works across customers’ homes
  • working under the guidance of experienced colleagues to develop practical skills in repairing, maintaining, and installing a range of joinery components, including doors, frames, kitchens, windows, and internal fixtures
  • assisting in diagnosing faults, completing repairs efficiently within set timeframes, and collaborating with other trades and team members to deliver a high quality, right first time service
  • following health and safety procedures, using tools and materials correctly, and contributing to effective stock and work management

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above
  • applicants must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • curious, enthusiastic and eager to learn
  • organised with good attention to detail
  • confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • friendly and focused on providing great customer service
  • comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • willing to ask questions and take on feedback
