This isn’t just a job — it’s your gateway to becoming a future SPMT (Self-Propelled Modular Transporter) operator and heavy haul pro. You’ll train alongside experienced operators as you help move the world’s heaviest loads across industries like renewables, oil & gas, mining, civil infrastructure, and more.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with assembling, disassembling, loading, and unloading heavy transport equipment
  • Supporting the operation of modular trailers and transport vehicles
  • Gaining hands-on experience with rigging, lashing, and hydraulic systems
  • Reading and understanding transport plans and work orders
  • Performing basic inspections and safety checks on equipment
  • Learning to build trailers and support gear with hand tools
  • Traveling with the crew to support on-site heavy haul projects
  • Prioritizing safety and precision every step of the way

Requirements:

  • A strong work ethic and a serious interest in heavy transport and logistics
  • Willingness to learn — both in the field and in formal training sessions
  • Mechanical curiosity and hands-on problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety practices
