Job Description

Are you looking to start a career in Health & Safety and make a real difference in the workplace? We're offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice HSE Technician to join our team and gain hands-on experience while completing a nationally recognised Level 3 apprenticeship. About the role You'll support the Health & Safety team to help create a safe, healthy and environmentally responsible workplace. This is a varied role combining office-based work with practical, on-site activity, giving you real exposure to health, safety and environmental management.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting risk assessments, inspections and safe systems of work
  • Assisting with health & safety training, inductions and toolbox talks
  • Helping investigate incidents and analyse health & safety data
  • Maintaining HSE records and documentation
  • Promoting safe working practices and a positive safety culture
  • Supporting environmental and sustainability initiatives

Requirements

  • GCSEs level 4 or above (or grade C or above) in Maths and English
  • Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Interest in health, safety and environmental management
  • Basic IT skills and willingness to learn
