Job Description:

Earn as you learn, combining college study for a Level 3 apprenticeship, with industry experience at the largest independent construction materials group in the UK. You’ll support the vital need to uphold quarry and cement site production. You will attend college in either Loughborough or Derby which will be on a day release basis for 3 years. The choice of college will be dependent on where you live. You will be studying to become a multi skilled engineer, you will also complete your electrical wiring regulations qualification – 18th Edition.

Job Responsibility:

  • Dismantling, examining, replacing, and reassembling mechanical and electrical systems and components
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment
  • Working on yellow machinery to equipment that deals with dust

Requirements:

  • At least five GCSEs, grades 5-9/A-C, with a 6/B in Maths
  • A demonstrable interest in engineering – via education and/or work experience
  • A full UK driving license
