Job Description:

Are you looking to start your career in the manufacturing sector? Do you want to earn a salary whilst gaining experience and a qualification? We have an exciting opportunity for a Door Assembly Operative Apprentice. You will take part in woodworking and joinery with practical experience in manufacturing of bespoke doors and fire doors.

Job Responsibility:

To learn all aspects of flush fire door construction and how to use the processing machinery
Cross cut
Panel saw
Veneer presses
Sanding machines
Lipping machines
Glazing of doors
Working to deadlines
Working in an organised manner
Working in a tidy environment
Working within a team
Learn to have pride in your work
Working with and shadowing experienced colleagues

Requirements:

GCSE in Maths and English (grade 3 and above)
Problem solving skills
Practical skills
Work ethic
Motivated
Willing to learn
Hardworking
