Experience in a business administration, customer service, or front-of-house environment, gained through work, education, or community settings
Confident using IT systems for email, data entry, and document management, with working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Understanding of internal customer service and how support functions work within an organisation
Awareness of confidentiality, GDPR, and data protection requirements
Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion principles

Job Responsibility

Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house service for learners, colleagues, and visitors
Act as the first point of contact for reception enquiries, directing calls and visitors appropriately
Coordinate maintenance, service contracts, and external suppliers, including cleaning, waste, fire safety, and facilities repairs
Maintain accurate records in line with company policies and procedures
Support new colleagues with onboarding, including welcome packs, ID badges, and equipment
Produce and issue ID badges for colleagues and learners
Book travel, accommodation, meeting rooms, and refreshments as required
Support the wider Business Services and People teams with general administrative tasks
Arrange and manage incoming and outgoing post and parcel deliveries
Order stationery, uniform, consumables, and office equipment in line with DSE requirements

Assist in the preparation of operating and capital budgets. Provide assistance with financial forecasts and analyzing budget variances as appropriate
Assist with physical inventory at month end in accordance with inventory procedures
Ensure accurate tracking of types and quantity of golf rounds played. Monitor customer preferences, usage patterns, and satisfaction with Company products and services. Assess the quality of internal and/or external customer service and speed of play. Recommend plans for continued improvement
Interact with pass-holders, members and guests in a congenial and professional manner
