The Apprentice Client & Sales Executive will support the Strategic Client Management team in delivering exceptional service to our customers and identifying opportunities to increase the value our technology brings to healthcare organisations. This is a development role designed for someone with a highly positive attitude, resilience, and strong initiative who wants to build a career in healthcare technology sales. The successful candidate will gradually develop the skills required to manage their own portfolio of customers and grow into a Strategic Client Manager role.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Strategic Client Management team in maintaining strong relationships with NHS customers and other healthcare organisations
Assist in day-to-day communications with customers
Participate in customer meetings and site visits where appropriate
Help identify opportunities where our products or services could further support the customer
Support customers in making effective use of our technology
Help identify opportunities for additional modules, services, or training
Assist in monitoring customer activity and engagement
Support the team in identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and value-added services
Assist with maintaining sales pipeline information and supporting account planning
Help maintain accurate records of customer interactions within the CRM system
Assist with preparing proposals, tenders and supporting materials
Work with the Sales Operations team to help gather information required for bids and submissions
Support the team with attendance at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events
Develop an understanding of the NHS, its challenges, and the role of digital technology in improving patient outcomes
Requirements:
Educated to A Level standard, Level 3 Diploma, or an equivalent Level 3 qualification
A highly positive attitude and strong work ethic
Resilience and determination – able to stay motivated when things are challenging
Self-starter mindset – able to take initiative and manage tasks independently
Strong curiosity and willingness to learn
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Interest in healthcare, technology, and how digital systems improve patient care
