Job Responsibility

  • Assist with the preparation and cooking of food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
  • Follow a food preparation checklist and establish priority items
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use
  • Develop strong food safety and cleaning skills to ensure assigned kitchen section is properly maintained
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives and equipment
  • Assist the sassy and savvy kitchen team in operational tasks and duties
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed guest expectations, enhancing their experiences and moving at the pace of our guests

Requirements

  • Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
  • Passion for the industry
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
