We’re looking for a motivated Apprentice Cash Administrator to join our Finance team - a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification. In this role, you’ll play an important part in keeping our cash processes running smoothly. You’ll learn all about cash management, bank reconciliations, and finance operations - supported by an experienced team that will help you develop your skills and confidence every step of the way.
Job Responsibility:
Posting daily cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Supporting the completion of the G101 Process, ensuring all items are fully reconciled each week
Maintaining voucher accounts and following up with stores to resolve outstanding items
Assisting with payments, reconciliations, and other finance tasks during busy periods
Handling queries professionally, escalating where necessary
Supporting the audit process by preparing and organising relevant documentation
Working towards a Level 2 Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship
Requirements:
Genuine interest in building a career in finance or accounting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling numbers
Well-organised with a structured approach to work
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and enthusiasm to learn new systems
Clear and professional communication skills
Proactive attitude, willing to learn and ask questions
Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and supporting shared goals
Takes ownership of your learning and development
