Job Description:

Start your career in Buying, buying fantastic Clothing every week. Enrol onto a Level 4 Buying & Merchandising Apprenticeship, mentored by experienced leaders. Aligned to either Kidswear or Menswear, you'll development a deep understanding of the clothing offering and the critical path that brings it from concept to customer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting with competitor shopping reports, including website reviews, store visits and analysing promotional activity
  • Supporting the organisation of product samples
  • Being a key support as part of the range build process
  • Taking ownership of spreadsheets and category admin tasks, including the essential critical path for category products
  • Arranging supplier meetings and attending where needed
  • Being a part of the category management team, working across departments, building internal network and understanding of the product lifecycle

Requirements:

  • GCSE in Maths grade 4 / C or above
  • GCSE in English grade 4 / C or above
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate Excel spreadsheets

  • Perform panel wiring, cell wiring and system wiring, including installation of conduits and wireways
  • Report any issues regarding workmanship or design to the Lead Electrician or the Manager, Electrical Assembly
  • Ensure that all print updates are being completed and that rework is properly recorded
  • Following OHSC rules and regulations
  • determine power requirements for projects and install bus plugs, conduits and cord drops to transformers and/or directly to control panel disconnects
  • Using established procedures for “Power up and Test” perform power up and electrical testing and troubleshooting of the control system in order to enable the start of integration. Repair and/or replace defective components of the system as required
