Entering Junior or Senior year of high school, at least 16 years of age
Passing grades from the previous year of schooling (2.5 GPA or above)
Maintain regular attendance and are punctual
Able to work between 20 and 32 hours per week
Available for minimum of 6 weeks, possibility to extend, based on performance and initiative
Complete on-the-job-training and any required reading in a timely manner
Possess basic computer skills necessary to perform job function (Microsoft Office)

Job Responsibility

Willing participant to both class room and On the Job training (Aircraft Systems and Structure)
Assist with pre/post experimental test inspections as trained
Assist with maintenance on experimental aircraft
Assist with aircraft ballast changes
Assist with installation of instrumentation, strain gauges, and accelerometers
Assist with aircraft towing, weighing, and related activities (Observer only)
Assist Mentor with release and recovery aircraft on taxi ramp
Assist with removal and re-installation of aircraft components, which obstruct the performance of assigned tasks
Maintain company tools, equipment, and work areas to department and company standards

Recommends policies, doctrine, tactics, and procedures
Coordinates and interfaces with various Department of Defense (DoD), non-DoD, and international participants located in and out of the continental United States (CONUS)
Provides subject material to develop technical documentation, provides consultation to management personnel, or prepares and conducts training on matters relating to Aviation Command and Control projects, services or projects and research unique to the polar environments
