Job Description:

We are recruiting an Apprentice Accounts Assistant into our Finance team, who will work closely with the Financial Controller responsible for transactional tasks such as managing invoices, processing payments, reconciling bank statements, assisting with financial reports and taking on other department and process improvement projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and be responsible for the monthly supplier statement reconciliation, including chasing suppliers for statements and resolving reconciling differences
  • Involvement with matching invoices to purchase orders in the iDocs system
  • Manage and be responsible for the monthly company credit card reconciliation
  • Responsible for the daily bank reconciliations
  • Involvement with sales and debtor reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts
  • Assist the Finance team in various other ad hoc duties and projects
